As part of the SITREP Sunday posts I will try and start putting together a quick summary of the past events and some thoughts of the path forward regarding Tier 1 Sportsmen. Since for the most part it's a one-man band and I also have a family, job, and all that comes with those responsibilities don't have hard feelings if I'm late or skip here or there. I will do my best to stay consistent because I think this will be an asset to the growth of this community.
Ok now let's move on, I'm going to be listing weekly Accomplishments, Failures, To-do and Thoughts. This first one will be over the last few weeks then after this one it will be information on the previous week.
Accomplishments
- Finished Target Intel Report maps and imbedded them on the Reports.
- Designed the AO Reports.
- Completed & launched Alaska GMU Reports.
- Completed & launched Tongass NF Reports.
- Finished the plan for our Tier 1 Challenge Archery Event February 26th to 28th.
- Added all the Alaska dates to the calendar.
Failures
- Losing steam, came out of the gate knocking stuff out now I'm having to focus a little more.
- Found gaps in the AO Reports, so having to revisit and add information.
- The calendar is crowded and to be honest some of the information I have entered I think hunters should be going to the proper managing agency to get.
To-Do
- Gather and input the new information for the AO reports.
- Work on a weekly social posting schedule.
- Review National Forest AO Reports and adjust design.
